    Christina Applegate get infection

Christina Applegate, widely recognized for her unforgettable roles in the classic sitcom Married… with Children and the popular Netflix dark comedy series Dead to Me, has bravely shared her ongoing journey with multiple sclerosis (MS), a chronic and often debilitating neurological disease. Since her diagnosis in 2021, she has faced numerous health setbacks, having been hospitalized more than 30 times as she continues to navigate the unpredictable symptoms and challenges that come with MS. This condition has had a significant impact on her physical abilities, emotional wellbeing, and overall daily life, forcing her to adapt to a new way of living while managing the uncertainty that the disease brings.

In a recent episode of her podcast Messy, which she co-hosts with actress Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Applegate gave her fans and listeners a rare and deeply personal look into her current health situation by recording directly from her hospital room. This choice was not made for publicity or attention; rather, it was a coincidence of timing, as the episode had been scheduled before her admission. By recording in this raw and vulnerable setting, Applegate opened up about the reality of living with a chronic illness in an honest and unfiltered way, breaking down the barriers often present when celebrities discuss their health.

During the podcast, Applegate candidly admitted that her health was not in a stable condition. She told her audience, “They won’t let me leave yet because things are, things are messy,” a phrase that suggested serious complications without diving into the specifics of her symptoms or treatment. Despite the physical and emotional difficulties she was facing at that moment, Applegate maintained a spirit of hope and resilience. She reassured listeners, “But I’m going to be okay,” offering a powerful message of strength and perseverance. This statement served both as a personal affirmation for herself and as an encouragement to others dealing with MS or any long-term health conditions, reminding them that even in difficult times, hope remains.

Christina’s openness about her diagnosis and ongoing health struggles has resonated with many people, particularly those living with chronic illnesses who often feel isolated or misunderstood. Her willingness to share the unvarnished truth of her journey helps break down stigma and encourages a more compassionate and informed conversation about chronic diseases like MS. The Messy podcast, named to reflect the complexities and imperfections of life, has become a vital platform where she and Jamie-Lynn Sigler discuss not only chronic illness but also mental health, relationships, and the messy parts of life that don’t always get talked about openly.

Through this platform, Christina fosters a sense of community and connection among listeners who face similar challenges. The podcast creates a space where people can share their stories, find support, and gain insight into living with chronic health issues. In doing so, it helps listeners feel less alone and more empowered to confront their own health battles with courage.

Moreover, Christina Applegate’s public discussion of multiple sclerosis raises awareness about a disease that affects millions worldwide but is often misunderstood. By speaking openly about her diagnosis and treatment, she helps educate the public about the realities of MS, including the physical limitations, emotional toll, and ongoing need for medical care and support. Her advocacy through storytelling brings visibility to the condition and encourages greater empathy and support for those living with chronic illnesses.

Ultimately, Christina’s journey exemplifies resilience in the face of adversity. Despite the setbacks and hospitalizations, she continues to find ways to live fully and advocate for others facing similar challenges. Her honesty, courage, and determination inspire not only those with MS but also anyone dealing with long-term health issues, reminding us all of the power of hope, community, and speaking one’s truth.

Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Brett James best known for writing the Carrie Underwood song Jesus, Take the Wheel lost his life in a plane crash aged 57.

According to reports, James, along with his wife and daughter, was on a single-engine Cirrus SR22T when it went down “under unknown circumstances in a wooded area,” BBC reported.

Their song Jesus, Take the Wheel, earned James a Grammy award. It was also nominated song of the year and marked both his and Underwood’s careers.

“Brett was the epitome of ‘cool’,” Underwood said. “My favorite songs to sing of ours are the ones that he or we wrote about Jesus because the thoughts and feelings behind them are so genuine and pure. I won’t ever sing one note of them again without thinking of him. Brett’s passing is leaving a hole in all of us that I fear won’t ever go away.”

Over the years, James worked with a number of renowned singers, including Taylor Swift, Kelly Clarkson, Bon Jovi, and Jason Aldean.

Speaking of James’ tragic passing, Aldean, who recorded The Truth, written by James, said he was “heartbroken.”

“I had nothing but love and respect for that guy and he helped change my life. Honored to have met him and worked with him. Thoughts and prayers going out to his family,” Aldean said.

Months before the tragic plane crash, James shared a photo of him and his family with the caption, “Such an amazing Father’s Day!!”

The family celebrated their daughter Meryl Maxwell Wilson’s 28th birthday just days before the crash that claimed their lives.

“Happy Birthday my Love!! How Blessed am I to be your Momma!” James’ wife Melody wrote on Instagram.

“You’re the MOST BEAUTIFUL AMAZING HUMAN inside and out! I’m humbled and grateful everyday for your shining presence in my life! God has already used you for His Kingdom in so many ways and so much more to come! No words can express what a gift you are to me and everyone that KNOWS YOU❤️😘🎂🎉”

Among those who paid tribute to the late singer-songwriter was Paul Williams, president of the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), who dubbed James as “a songwriting force of nature.”

Speaking of his collaborations with James, Dierks Bentley wrote, “Our friendship and that song changed my life. I Hold On.”

Tim McGraw wrote, “So heartbroken to hear about the passing of Brett James. Brett was one of the most talented and most respected songwriters in Nashville and wrote some of my personal favorite songs I ever recorded, Telluride and Drugs or Jesus. Our family’s hearts go out to his family, friends and everyone who loved him.”

James is survived by his other children whom he shares with ex-wife Sandra Cornelius-Little.

On September 15, 2025, actor Eric Dane appeared in a heartfelt Instagram video supporting the I Am ALS organization, where he spoke openly about his life with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). Wearing a navy blue “I Am ALS” T-shirt, Dane delivered a calm but urgent message about the importance of raising funds through the “Push for Progress” campaign, which aims to accelerate research, expand treatment options, and improve care for people living with ALS.

Fans quickly noticed changes in his speech and physical condition, expressing concern over his “slurred” speech and visible muscle twitching. Many took to social media to share their heartbreak and questions about the progression of his illness. This video came shortly after Dane’s surprising absence from the 2025 Emmy Awards, where he was scheduled to appear alongside Grey’s Anatomy co-star Jesse Williams to celebrate the show’s 20th anniversary but withdrew without explanation, causing the tribute to be canceled.

Eric Dane publicly announced his ALS diagnosis in April 2025, revealing that the disease had already started affecting his mobility and speech. In a deeply emotional interview with Diane Sawyer, he shared the early signs he experienced, such as weakness in his right hand, and the difficult journey to receive the diagnosis. He spoke candidly about the physical and emotional impact ALS has had on him and his family, including a touching story about how his youngest daughter saved him during a recent boat trip when he was no longer able to swim.

Despite these challenges, Dane remains determined to live fully and continue working. He expressed gratitude for the support of his wife, actress Rebecca Gayheart, and their teenage daughters, crediting them as his biggest source of strength.

Dane emphasized that while ALS has changed his life, it will not define or silence him. “I don’t think this is the end of my story. I’m fighting as much as I can,” he said.

He also highlighted the importance of the “Push for Progress” campaign, calling on viewers to join the effort to raise $1 billion in three years to fund research and improve treatment access. Dane’s video and openness have inspired many fans and people living with ALS worldwide, turning him from a beloved TV heartthrob into a powerful symbol of courage, resilience, and hope.

  • Robert Redford’s Grandchildren Honor His Legacy with Rare, Heartfelt Family Photos

Robert Redford’s Grandchildren Honor His Legacy with Rare, Heartfelt Family Photos

After the passing of legendary actor and filmmaker Robert Redford, his grandchildren shared an emotional tribute through never-before-seen family photos, offering a rare and intimate look into the private life of the Hollywood icon. Redford died at 89 years old on September 16, 2025, surrounded by loved ones in the place he cherished most, according to family spokesperson Cindi Berger.

Redford’s grandson Conor Schlosser, son of Shauna Redford, posted a series of heartfelt images on Instagram. One photo showed him hugging his grandfather under the sun, another captured them sharing dinner, and a childhood picture displayed young Conor learning golf from Robert. “He was larger than life to the world, but to his family, he was simply that—family,” Conor wrote.

His granddaughter Lena Redford, daughter of Redford’s late son James, also honored him with a red heart emoji and a carousel of touching photos. One picture showed her as a child riding horses with her grandfather. Another powerful image captured Lena resting her head on Robert’s shoulder while holding a framed childhood photo of herself—connecting generations through a quiet moment of love. Other photos showed the close bond between Lena, her father James, and her grandfather.

Dylan Redford, Lena’s brother, also paid tribute. In a now-expired Instagram Story, he shared a photo with Robert, writing: “He was the best grampa a grandson could ask for. He also made amazing things, helped others make amazing things, and tried to make the world a better place.”

Though known globally for his work in film, Robert Redford was lovingly called “Bo-Pa” or “Ba-Poo” by his grandchildren—a playful nickname that showed his softer side. He once admitted he didn’t like the word “grandfather” because it made him feel old and distant. Instead, he preferred being a warm and involved part of his grandchildren’s lives.

In 2016, Robert was interviewed by Dylan in a rare, emotional conversation. The two discussed fame, family, and identity. Dylan shared how strange it felt when classmates reacted to Redford’s visit at school as if a celebrity had walked in—not just his grandpa. Redford, in turn, said he had always worked hard to protect his family from the pressures of fame, giving them space to grow.

Redford later supported Dylan in his creative journey, even voicing a dolphin named Lokia in Dylan’s experimental film Omniboat: A Fast Boat Fantasia. The film premiered at Sundance, the very festival Robert created to support independent artists and new storytellers.

Robert stood proudly behind the project, honoring his grandson’s courage to speak about his learning disability.

In the end, Robert Redford leaves behind not just an incredible cinematic legacy, but a deeply personal one—filled with love, creativity, support, and connection. His grandchildren’s tributes reflect the man behind the fame: a dedicated grandfather, a guiding mentor, and a symbol of gentle strength whose presence will never be forgotten.

  • Our Meddling Neighbor Had Our Cars Towed from Our Own Driveway — But She Ended Up Paying a Heavy Price

Our Meddling Neighbor Had Our Cars Towed from Our Own Driveway — But She Ended Up Paying a Heavy Price

Jack and I had only just moved into a quiet, suburban rental house — a simple one-story place with tan bricks, faded green shutters, and a lawn that hadn’t seen water in weeks. It wasn’t a forever home. Just a short-term stay for a work assignment. We barely had our boxes unpacked when trouble found us. That “trouble” came in the form of Lindsey — our neighbor across the street. She showed up at our door on our first day with a tray of perfectly arranged cookies and a rehearsed smile.

But something about her energy felt off. Her eyes weren’t just looking at us — they were searching behind us, scanning our hallway and living room like she was gathering intel. After a few pleasantries, she dropped her real reason for coming: “Just a heads-up — our HOA only allows one car in each driveway.” I blinked, confused. “One car per house?” “Yes,” she said sweetly. “No exceptions. It keeps the neighborhood orderly.”

Jack and I looked at each other. We had two cars, both neatly parked in our own driveway, not blocking the street or breaking any obvious rules. We explained that we were just here temporarily, but she wasn’t interested. “Rules are rules,” she chirped, before heading back across the street. We shrugged it off at first. Surely, no one would take it that far, right? Wrong.

Just three mornings later, around 6 a.m., we woke to the sound of metal grinding and engines running. We looked outside and saw two tow  trucks in our driveway. Both of our cars were already halfway off the ground. We ran outside, barefoot and stunned. “Hey! What’s going on?” I called out. One of the tow drivers replied bluntly: “HOA violation. Two cars in the driveway. Orders came through this morning.” And there she was — Lindsey. Standing on the sidewalk in her bathrobe, sipping coffee, and smiling like she’d just won the neighborhood lottery.

I didn’t argue. I didn’t yell. I just walked up to her and said, “You might want to hold onto that coffee cup. Because you just made a $25,000 mistake.” Her face twitched. “Excuse me?” Jack joined me as I pointed to a small, nearly invisible sticker on the corner of my rear windshield. “That’s a federal operations marker,” I said calmly. “You just had two government  vehicles towed.” She looked at the sticker, then back at me. “I—I didn’t know…”

We didn’t say another word. Just walked back into our house and closed the door. The next morning, a sleek black  SUV pulled into the neighborhood just after sunrise. A sharply dressed man stepped out, sunglasses on, briefcase in hand. He walked straight to Lindsey’s door and rang the bell. She opened it slowly, still in her robe. The man flashed a badge.

“Ma’am,” he said, “due to your actions yesterday, you are under investigation for interfering with an active undercover federal operation. You initiated the unauthorized towing of two marked government vehicles, disrupting an investigation and causing an estimated $25,000 in damages.” She gasped. Her mug slipped from her hands and shattered on the porch. “I—I didn’t know,” she stammered. “I thought it was just a neighborhood rule…”

The agent didn’t blink. “You failed to verify the vehicles before reporting them. Your personal interference has legal consequences. You’ll be contacted regarding next steps. Until then, do not leave the area or destroy any related documents.” Jack stepped forward and added dryly, “Next time, maybe just bake the cookies and leave it at that.” We walked away. Her door stayed open. Her face stayed pale. And she hasn’t spoken to us since. The blinds in her house rarely open now. The once-perfect rose bushes out front? They’re half-dead. And those cookies? Still untouched on our counter — a reminder that some neighbors don’t learn until it’s too late.
